Back in December during a trip to Paris, France, Rihanna and her personal stylist & personal costume designer (Mel Ottenberg and Adam Selman) all had the honour of going though Azzedine Alaia’s whole archive to discuss this red custom gown with a elegant train flowing behind her. This gown was completed with Manolo Blahnik heels and jewelry from Neil Lane.
Rihanna took to the stage for the first time with her fellow collaborator, Mikky Ekko, to perform Stay together. Rihanna ‘s dress is also from Azzedine Alaia from the 80’s picked out from the archive. Mel Ottenberg, Rihanna’s personal stylist, stated that this mid 80s dress felt brand new and didn’t need a stich of altercation. Neil Lane completed her look jewelry wise.
Last but not least, Bob Marley’s Tribute. Rihanna took to the stage with Sting, Bruno Mars, Ziggy Marley and Damien Marley to all join in and sing Bob Marley’s hit song Could You Be Loved. For this group performance look,Luciano Soprani 90s inspiration came from an inspiration board and Mel, Adam and Rihanna all loved the real thing from Italy. Her look was completed with jewelry by Neil Lane, rings by Jennifer Fisher and Manolo Blahnik sandals.
